Ciarán Devine BA, BDentSc, Dip PCD (RSCI), MFD (RCSI), PG Cert HPE, DClinDent Orthodontics, MOrth (RCSEng)

Ciarán is a Specialist Orthodontist registered with the Irish Dental Council (7DS23) and founder of Maynooth Orthodontics by Ciarán Devine. Originally from Longford, Ciarán graduated as a dentist with Honours from Trinity College Dublin. His strive for excellence led him to gain a diverse range of specialist clinical experience in multiple Dental Hospitals across Ireland and the U.K. shaping his comprehensive approach to patient care. 

In parallel with his clinical pursuits, Ciarán completed a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry and earned Membership to the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Building upon this foundation, Ciarán completed his Doctorate in Orthodontics at the esteemed Royal London Hospital, solidifying his expertise in the field. Ciarán's dedication to advancing orthodontic care culminated in his Membership of the Faculty of Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons  England. Today, Ciarán's commitment to innovation and patient-centred care continues to drive the ethos of Maynooth Orthodontics.

Ciarán's dedication to advancing orthodontic care extends beyond the clinic and he has contributed extensively to orthodontic research, presenting his findings at both national and international levels. His interest in education led him to pursue a postgraduate qualification in clinical education at UCL London. He now imparts his knowledge as a part-time lecturer and examiner in Dublin Dental University Hospital supporting the next generation of orthodontic professionals.

Ciarán is a member of the Irish Dental Association, Orthodontic Society of Ireland, British Orthodontic Society, Royal College Of Surgeons Ireland and Royal College Of Surgeons England. Ciarán has recently moved to Maynooth with his wife and their two children. His other passion is gardening and he loves nothing more than being outside in the garden or on his family farm in Longford.
